What the rules mean in practice

  • There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $10,000 profit (10%); Phase 2 needs $8,000 profit (8%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $4,000 (4%). Check FundingPips's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $12,000 (12%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
  • Consistency rule: None on bi-weekly cycles; 35% best-day rule on the on-demand cycle
  • At a 80% split, you need about 0.69% return on the funded account to earn back the $555 fee.
  • At purchase the trader locks in either an 80% bi-weekly split or a 95% bi-weekly split that needs 3 profitable days per cycle; both cost the same. On demand at 100% is also offered.
  • The website pricing widget labels this model Most popular.
  • The help centre comparison table lists lower prices below $100K ($32, $59, $159 and $269); the website pricing table is used here.
  • The model article gives the Master news window as 5 minutes either side in one place and as a 10-minute window in another.
