The UK Financial Conduct Authority warned in October 2023 that Bespoke Funding Program was not authorised. The firm later faced payout complaints, and its UK company was dissolved in August 2026.

What happened

Bespoke Funding Program sold evaluation accounts to retail forex traders through bespokefundingprogram.com. Its UK company, Bespoke Funding Program Ltd, was incorporated in September 2022 and later registered in Harpenden, England. FX News Group named Lewis Kaler as chief executive and Zak Wilding as co-founder. Finance Magnates described the firm as Dubai-based in 2024.

On 31 October 2023 the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) added Bespoke Funding Program Limited to its warning list. The FCA said the firm was not authorised by it, that it may be providing or promoting financial services without permission and may be targeting people in the UK, and it advised consumers to avoid dealing with it.

In February 2024 broker ThinkMarkets, which had supplied MetaTrader access to a number of prop firms, told them to stop onboarding US customers. In March 2024 Kaler said Bespoke would move to ThinkTrader, ThinkMarkets’ own platform, and reopen evaluations to US traders after the move. In April 2024 FX News Group reported that a prop firm comparison website had removed Bespoke from its listings, citing multiple reports of payout delays and denials. That report did not include a response from the firm.

What it meant for traders

The FCA’s warning explains that people who deal with an unauthorised firm cannot take complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service and are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if the firm fails. US traders could not buy new evaluations while the firm moved platforms in early 2024. The sources listed here do not show whether the payouts reported as delayed in 2024 were later made.

Current status

The FCA warning is still published as of October 2026. Companies House records show Bespoke Funding Program Ltd applied for voluntary strike-off in May 2026 and was dissolved on 4 August 2026. The sources listed here do not include a statement from the firm about whether its programme still operates through another entity.
