FundingTicks, the futures arm of FundingPips, announced a full wind-down in January 2026 after a dispute over rule changes, with refunds for active evaluations and set payouts for funded and live accounts.

What happened

FundingTicks was the futures prop trading arm of FundingPips. TradeInformer reported that it launched at the start of July 2025 and sold evaluation accounts for futures trading.

In December 2025 FundingTicks introduced stricter rules. Finance Magnates reported that these included a one-minute minimum hold time aimed at scalpers, higher daily profit requirements and lower profit splits, and that traders complained the rules were applied to existing accounts, reducing or cancelling trades and profits they had considered valid. Finance Magnates later reported that the firm dropped the backdated application of the rules.

On 18 January 2026 FundingTicks posted terms for winding down, and on 19 January FundingPips announced that the futures business would close. The firm described the closure as a strategic decision to focus its resources where they would deliver the most long-term value, and said the process would be handled fairly and transparently. It did not give a more detailed reason.
