Overview
FTMO Futures is the futures product of FTMO, the Prague company that has run trading evaluations since 2015; US clients are served through its Delaware entity, JV Prop Corporation. Traders pay a monthly subscription for a single-phase Growth or Pro Evaluation on simulated CME Group contracts, traded on NinjaTrader, Tradovate or TradingView. Both products use an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks at the starting balance, require flat positions by 4:10 p.m. ET and pay 90% of each approved payout. Growth is cheaper, has no daily loss limit in the Evaluation and lets traders withdraw half of their profit, while Pro adds a hard daily loss limit in exchange for full withdrawals and higher payout caps. A trader can hold up to three Sim-Funded Accounts at once.

Target ÷ loss is the total profit target divided by the max loss limit. Lower means less profit is needed for each unit of risk. Prices are list prices before discounts. Per $100K converts EUR and GBP at a fixed rate for ranking only.

Payouts

Minimum trading days
None set; the 40% consistency rule means at least 3 trading days. Payouts need 4 qualifying days per cycle
Time limit
Unlimited while the monthly subscription is active
Payouts: every 4 days, after 4 qualifying days in the cycle with at least $150 / $250 / $300 of profit each (50K / 100K / 150K).
Dollar rules: profit target $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 and maximum drawdown $2,000 / $3,500 / $5,000.
The drawdown limit is reset each day from the highest closing balance and can only rise; equity may not touch it at any time, and it locks permanently at the starting balance.
No daily loss limit in the Evaluation. The Sim-Funded Account has a soft daily limit of $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 that closes positions and stops trading for the rest of the day without ending the account.
Each request can take up to 50% of profit above the starting balance, capped at $2,500 / $3,000 / $4,000.
The Evaluation contract limit applies from the start; on the Sim-Funded Account it begins at 2 / 4 / 6 contracts and scales up with end-of-day profit.
The subscription is billed monthly until the Evaluation is passed, then cancelled automatically. Resets cost $109 / $159 / $219 and do not change the billing date.
No activation fee. FTMO's pages state the Reset Fee is non-refundable but do not state a refund policy for the subscription itself.

Payouts
Every 5 days
Minimum trading days
None set; the 50% consistency rule means at least 2 trading days. Payouts need 5 qualifying days per cycle
Time limit
Unlimited while the monthly subscription is active
Payouts: every 5 days, after 5 qualifying days in the cycle with at least $200 / $300 / $500 of profit each (50K / 100K / 150K).
Dollar rules: profit target $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000, maximum drawdown $3,000 / $4,500 / $6,000 and daily loss $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,000.
The daily loss limit is hard in both the Evaluation and the Sim-Funded Account: touching it ends the account. It is measured from each day's starting balance.
The drawdown limit trails the highest closing balance, can only rise and locks permanently at the starting balance.
Each request can take up to 100% of profit above the starting balance, capped at $5,000 / $6,000 / $8,000; withdrawing everything leaves no room above the locked drawdown.
On the Sim-Funded Account the contract limit begins at 2 / 4 / 6 contracts and scales up with end-of-day profit.
The subscription is billed monthly until the Evaluation is passed, then cancelled automatically. Resets cost $129 / $189 / $259.
No activation fee.
Trading rules
What FTMO Futures lets you do on its accounts, taken from its rules and FAQ pages.
News trading
Allowed
News trading is allowed in every phase with no special restrictions, though concentrating activity around scheduled releases in a way that differs from a trader's usual pattern can count as poor risk management.
Expert advisors
Allowed
Automated and algorithmic trading is permitted. High-frequency strategies, latency arbitrage and tools that exploit the simulated environment are forbidden, and widely shared third-party EAs risk a refused Sim-Funded Account.
Copy trading
Allowed with limits
Copying between a trader's own accounts is allowed if each account meets every rule. Copying any third party's decisions, including signal services and trade copiers fed by others, is forbidden.
Overnight holding
Not allowed
Positions and resting orders must be closed before 4:10 p.m. ET or the relevant market close, whichever comes first; anything left open is liquidated automatically.
Weekend holding
Not allowed
No position may be held past the daily close, so nothing can be carried into the weekend.
Rules to read before you buy
A trading day runs from 6:00 p.m. ET to 4:10 p.m. ET the next day.
Up to 3 Sim-Funded Accounts at once across Growth and Pro; the number of Evaluations is not limited.
No new positions may be opened within 2% of a CME daily price limit.
Hedging or offsetting risk across accounts, alone or with others and including correlated contracts, is forbidden; opposite positions are only allowed inside one account.
Positions may not rely on the drawdown limit as their only exit; overleveraging, one-sided bets and account rolling are treated as forbidden practices.
Level 1 market data is included; Level 2 (depth of market) cannot be bought with FTMO credentials.
FTMO Identity verification and the Sim-Funded Account terms must be completed before the Sim-Funded Account is issued.
A Live Funded Account with daily payouts is offered only by FTMO's invitation.
Inactivity: Sim-Funded Accounts with no trading for 30 consecutive calendar days are closed. No inactivity rule is stated for Evaluations or Live Funded Accounts.
How the drawdown works
End-of-day trailing (Growth, Pro)
The loss limit moves up once a day, based on your end-of-day balance, and ignores swings during the session.
Consistency rules
Growth
Evaluation only: best day may not exceed 40% of total profit; no consistency rule on the Sim-Funded Account
Pro
Evaluation only: best day may not exceed 50% of total profit; no consistency rule on the Sim-Funded Account
90% of each approved payout on both Growth and Pro.
How often
Growth: a request every 4 days after 4 qualifying days. Pro: a request every 5 days after 5 qualifying days.
First payout
After the qualifying days on the Sim-Funded Account (4 on Growth, 5 on Pro), each meeting a minimum daily profit.
Minimum withdrawal
$20
At least half of each requested amount must be new profit made in the current payout cycle.
Growth releases up to 50% of profit per request and Pro up to 100%, before the per-request cap and the 90% ratio are applied.
Payout methods: Wise, bank wire through Revolut, and instant card payouts via Visa Direct or Mastercard Send (Mastercard Send is not offered to US clients). Payouts are made in USD.
US clients need a US tax ID, a completed W-9 and proof of ownership of an account at a fully licensed US bank; fintech accounts such as Wise or Chime are not accepted.
Live Funded Accounts can request daily payouts without a cap after clearing a one-time buffer, at the same 90% ratio, and pay a market data fee beyond one exchange.

Scaling plan
On a Sim-Funded Account the contract limit starts lower than in the Evaluation and rises as end-of-day profit above the starting balance reaches set milestones.
50K: 2 contracts below $1,000 profit, 3 from $1,000, 5 from $2,000.
100K: 4 contracts below $1,000 profit, 5 from $1,000, 8 from $2,000, 10 from $3,000.
150K: 6 contracts below $1,000 profit, 8 from $1,000, 10 from $2,000, 12 from $3,000, 15 from $4,500.
Ten micro contracts count as one mini or standard contract, and the limit drops back if the end-of-day balance falls.
